Here is the trailer of Dharma Productions- Agneepath starring Hrithik Roshan, Sanjay Dutt, Priyanka Chopra & Rishi Kapoor. Sanjay Dutt is the only saving grace in the trailer according to me. I still don’t think Hrithik can carry off the Vijay Deenanath Chahuhan Aura which Big B carrried. Anyways see the trailer here-

Guzaarish – Music Review
So now Sanjay Leela Bhansali becomes a Music Director. Choosing something like ”Guzaarish” as his debut album would have been a risky job for SLB, but I feel he has done a good job with the music which captures the mood and feel of the film. The Album boasts of 10 original tracks and thankfully no remixes. Lyricists of album are A.M. Turaz and Vibhu Puri.
The Title track sung by KK and Shail Hada is a good soft sad romantic number. Both being very strong vocalists, this is a good ballad. Reminds me of Saawariya a bit, but now comparisons will be everywhere. Next is “Sau gram zindagi”. I don’t know who and why they came up with this name but its interesting. With Kunal Ganjawala behind the mike, some unusual lyrics, this opens up slowly and sticks to the same pace. With the poetic feel to the song and its unconventional lyrics it could have been a melodious composition if English lyrics used here and there. I feel they kill the melody of the song.
Then comes my personal favourite – “Tera Zikr hai” by Shail Hada and Rakesh Pandit another slow number on the lines of Sau gram zindagi , but I find this one better than that. The song will grow over you slowly. After this one comes a surprise in “Saiba”. Sung by Vibhavari Joshi, Francois Castellin and Shail Hada this one is the different track in the film. This song has a very western touch to it which makes it more appealing and interesting. Next is “Jaane kiska khwab” by KK ‘s impressive voice. A situational song where I feel vocals have been given more importance than the instruments. That’s why the lyrics of the song as quite strong. Minimal orchestration here makes the song more soulful.
After all slow tracks, another change comes in the form of ‘Udi’. Sung by Sunidhi Chauhan & Shail Hada, this song is full of latin beats and will surely be popular. Next is a solo “Keh Na Saku” by Shail Hada. Another slow romantic number like other songs in the album. “Chand ki Katori” is a good pick in the album. Sung by Harshdeep Kaur’s, the vocal is the highlight of this song. After this KK sings ’Daayein Baayein’ which can be passed easily. Not good but its not bad too.Last song on the list is ”Dhundhli dhundhli” by Shankar Mahadevan. The song is about evening and begins with the birds chirping. At times Mahadevan takes the song to some high pitch which makes it better.
Overall, I feel Guzaarish is a typical Sanjay Leela Bhansali type of music. A lot of situational songs, more heavy on vocals to suit the mood and tempo of the movie. Some tracks are unique, some I feel are over the top and some hummable.
Rating- 3.5 out of 5

Upcoming Movies- First Looks
Got hold of few more first looks of upcoming movie.
First is Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. Directed by Zoya Akhtar, this movie has a star cast which boasts of Farhan Akhtar, Abhay Deol, Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif, Kalki Koechlin and some new Spanish TV actress Adrina Cabrol. I wonder what’s up with Indian movies and foreign actresses. Are they easy to give in for hot steamy scenes or trying to make an international appeal. Anyways, the movie from the makers of Dil Chahta Hai is supposedly now the sequel but pertains to the youth. Keep an eye on it.
Next is Udaan, directed by Vikramaditya Motwane & produced by one of my fav Anurag Kashyap, this one was the only India film in this years Cannes. Starring Ronit Roy, Ram Kapoor, this movie is coming of age story about a teenage boy. Making some news in the Cannes, this is another one to watch for.
Now this one is big or small news I don’t know. Or I rather don’t want to know. Vipul Shah’s Action Replay. Starring Akshay Kumar & Aiswarya Rai Bachchan, this movie is not to be seen. Because it has FLOP written all over it. Now don’t wait for this.
Now better than the above one, I don’t mind watching Love,Barack. Mallika Sherwat might be missing in Bollywood but she is turning heads somewhere else. The first look of this was unveiled at Cannes. Directed by Dough McHenry, this one is about Politics & sex. Interesting isn’t it?? Better is the Tag Line- Politics Makes Strange Bed Fellows.
